Hello, Orbit Chain Community! We inform you about blocking the ICON network of Orbit Bridge. On January 23, ICON's flagship DeFi protocol, Omm Finance, was hacked due to a smart contract exploit attack. The hackers stole $1.9 million, including IUSDC (minted on Orbit Bridge). The hacker transferred the stolen 726K IUSDC to Ethereum and Polygon, and 242K IUSDC is currently stuck on Orbit Bridge. In response, our team blocked the token conversion function for the ICON network (Vault and Minter) in cooperation with the Omm Finance team and classified hacked funds through real-time monitoring. We estimate that it will take at least 2-3 days to complete the task, and we will inform you in a separate notice when the ICON network and underlying asset conversion service resumes.
