🟢Hello, Orbit Chain Community!🟢
We disclose the native coin swap service, which is included in the 2023 roadmap and is currently under development.
Native coin swap is vital to lowering the barriers to entry for various multi-chain DeFi and is an indispensable feature for the web3 mass adoption.
The problem that users who enter Web3 face are that when using the protocol of a specific blockchain, they must hold the native token (key currency) of that blockchain (*Uniswap: ETH, KLAYswap: KLAY, Meshswap: MATIC, Megaton Finance: TON).
As a result, users have to use exchanges to secure those assets, and in the process, many users leave the Web3 environment or remain in a single blockchain ecosystem.
When users use a centralized exchange, they go through signing up as a member, KYC certification, and holding a key currency (USDT, BTC, etc.) and should carefully check whether the native coin is supported and slippage/price impact when using a decentralized exchange.
We recognized this as the biggest hurdle in expanding the multichain ecosystem and collaborating with wallet developers and decided to implement the native coin swap function after internal discussions.
Native coin swap supports 1:1 swaps between major key currencies (native coins) such as ETH, KLAY, and MATIC, allowing users to move between multi-chain universes more easily and quickly by holding only one native coin.
This feature is available in Orbit Bridge and can combine with various wallet DApps. We will prioritize UI/UX, usability, and compatibility before applying this to Orbit Bridge and collaborating with wallet developers.
We will continue to do our best so that Orbit Chain can grow into a project representing the web3 ecosystem.
We ask for your continued support and unwavering interest.
Thank you.
