The background of preparing this feature is that in order to use other mainnet-based services, you must have the native coin of the corresponding mainnet. For example, a user who uses a wallet that supports Ethereum mainnet and holds ETH, a native Ethereum coin, does not use other mainnet services (Klaytn, Polygon, etc.) other than Ethereum mainnet or leaves in the process of trying to use them. Because you must have the native coin (Klaytn: KLAY, Polygon: MATIC) of that mainnet to use other mainnet services. Users have to bear the inconvenience of having to purchase native coins directly from exchanges that support native coins, such as KLAY and MATIC, and transfer them back to their personal wallets. Because it is necessary to go through two procedures (Using centralized exchanges and transferring coins via personal wallet), a significant number of users have left the process of securing native coins before using other mainnet services, and it has become fixed to operate only in one mainnet ecosystem. We identified the above problems as obstacles to the popularization of web3. As a solution, we would like to apply the technology securing native coins of other mainnets with just one transaction to the Orbit Bridge.
